MORE AND MORE TO COME!
we will have a tour dvd availble in fall 2008.
Day 1 - 6.21.2008 - Dalton, GA
We drove from New Orleans it took 9 total hours, it was a long haul, but a good arrival at "the venue", that was the name of the venue. The sweetest lady ever named Susie. There were no locals on the show, but she still paid us $50 each and she made the cover FREE so that more people would come to the show and watch us play. We slept at Alex's professors house. It was really awesome, we had eggs in the morning and coffee as well.
Day 2 - 6.22.2008 - W.Columbia, SC
Drove about 5 or so hours to play ay New Brookland Tavern, it was an all ages show. Sunday night, once again the locals dropped from this show, but us and stuck lucky still had a really fun show. I felt that we played a lot better tonight. We met some really great people. There was an awesome sound guy named Gary, picture below. We decided not to sleep in SC and we drove all the way to Richmond, VA to sleep at Reid from Murphy's Kids house. Charlie fell asleep on the dashboard of the truck.

Day 3 - 6.23.2008 - Chester, VA
Chester Bistro, all ages show. Tiffany set up this show for us with Neighborhood Friendly and Safety First, it was a really great night. It was Safety First's second show, how exciting! We got 20% off of food items, Will was thrilled about that.

Day 4 - 6.24.2008 - Richmond, VA
Hunter, Charlie, and John from FTA went to King's Dominion rollercoaster park, obviously they had a great time. The rest of us decided to stay back at Reid's house as well as check out the local river. It was a relaxing day, Stuck Lucky landed a show with ONION at Ramakins, we didn't play, but we went and met some cool kids. We went back to Reid's house and partied. Dance Partied.
Day 5 - 6.25.2008 - Washington D.C. / Baltimore, MD
We saw the national museum of natural history! and the national archives in D.C. It was so awesome and so beautiful and so humbling. It made me very happy to be human. The had dino bones, ancient minerals, and artifacts. There was even an exhibit about how the earth was formed, how cool! We are about to sleep at Becca's house in Baltimore, she is a very kind girl who lives at an awesome house, its sorta a punk collective place, there are like 7 people who live here and a TON of room, everyone we have met so far is super nice!
Hunter and the mammoth!
lets replace walking!

Day 6 - 6.26.2008 - Asbury Park, NJ
Asbury Lanes. Our first show officially in the northeast. The northeast is always exciting because the scenes and bands here are always of top quality. This show was no exception. The Flaming Tsunamis joined us along with a band called Faber. It was a fun night, we didn't bowl, but other peoples there did. Robbie set this one up along with the Boston show, thank yoo! A bunch of our friends were there, Josh, ska mom and Shannon and Dan, good dancy times. We drove for a long while and slept in Connecticut. Here's a picture of John in the van on the way to the show.
Day 7 - 6.27.2008 - North Haven, CT
We played at the North Haven Skatepark! It was killer, lewd acts, the Flaming Tsunamis, Musth, and Hostage Calm also played, I think there may have been one other band too. There were probably about 200 people there total. The peoples were awesome, lots of hardcore dancing, some of it was a bit too violent at some parts for me. We made burritos during the day and showed up a bit early to the show, we met some great people tonight. Quote for the day "never again fall victim to those with negative attitudes who try to tear you down" I love Mitch Dubey. here's some pictures. FATTER THAN YOU - CT

Day 8 - 6.28.2008 Boston, MA
Bills Bar, across the street from Fenway park, how incredible! The show went well, I think the turn out was about 70 people. The show was an afternoon show. The Red Sox were playing across the street while we played punk rock. We slept at rosie's house, she made us pasta & we ate oreos. We did some much needed laundry tonight. Boofish showed up along with Steve Foote.
Day 9 - 6.29.2008 Providence, RI
The Living Room. Woke up today and got blueberry coffee from Dunkin Donuts, I love blueberry coffee. Today was another afternoon show, the real deal, the flaming tsunamis, the have nots, the boston jolly pirates, the BRUNT OF IT, Interrobang, lemon lime tennis shoes, and many more played tonight, it was awesome. Before the show a few of us walked to the local record shop called Armageddon, we met the store clerk who formerly played in a band called the SKABLINS, can't get enough of those ska bands with the word ska in them. Adam from the brunt of it broke his foot today, but still played. The FTA performance was alright, it sucked because some one used hunter's guitar amp before we played and it was broken when we got on stage. Shitty. We don't even know who broke it. So lame.

we bought records at armageddon record store.
Day 10- 6.30.2008 Albany, NY
Punk Rock Reptile. Cool and small show, there were like 25 people there but it filled the whole room. Jay from Public Access set this one up for us. Hunter's amp was still giving him problems, it sucked, we should be able to get it fixed tomorrow. He's in kinda a bad mood right now. Johnny from TFT and Benson from WATU are traveling with us right now. Johnny made vegan cookies tonight, they were awesome! We are currently sleeping at his friend Mike's house and it is like 3am. Work to do!

Day 11 - 7.01.2008 Syracuse, NY
Westcott Community Center. Ska Danny and Johanna set up this show. Syracuse is always really fun for us. Both us and Stuck Lucky had a lot of fun at this show. The Waffle Stompers, This is a Stick Up, and 4 point 0 played. It was sweaty in there, and we got to eat vegan chili before we played! We stayed at this girl Candice's house, that was fun, her and almost all of her friends were in high school, kind of made us feel like old men, but we had a ton of fun. Most of us drank some and ate some food Candice and her friends made us. John from FTA did a back flip off of the ground, there may be video of it up eventually.

Day 12 - 7.02.2008 Driving to Michigan
We were supposed to have a show today at the Torpedo Factory, but it got canceled unfortunately. We did do about 8 or 9 hours of driving so that made up for it I guess. We drove through really heavy rain. One time during the day we got stopped in on the interstate, so we all decided to jump out of the car. We met these two girls named Courtney and Stephanie, they were driving in a vegetable oil powered car, we gave them a CD and our stuffed pet frog Lucian. We arrived in Ann Arbor, MI at about 10pm to hang out with some of We Are The Union. Good Dudes.
Day 13 - 7.03.2008 Ann Arbor, MI
The Alabi. VERY small place, but oh so fun. Matt set up this show and did a good job with it. We had a noise complaint, so we moved the party to the basement. Stuck Lukcy performed beautifully tonight. Matt Wixson and WATU were on this show as well. I think WATU has some video up, we will get more and more video up soon. There were about 30 or so people at the show + the bands. We came back to Matt from WATU's house and cut Matt from Stuck Lucky's hair, funniest hair cut ever.

Day 14 - 7.04.2008 Ann Arbor, MI
DAY OFF. Happy independence from Britain, let's blow some shit up and eat and drink until we puke. We bought stuff today too, true Americans we are. I bought a new bass, how exciting, its and American Fender Percision bass. HOORAY! John bought a double kick pedal and some new drum heads and Matt from Stuck Lucky bought some new sticks. We came back to Matt from WATU's house and ate BBQ and drank beer. Great relaxing day. Johnny Ryan, Tyler, Hunter, D-Ray, Benson, and I traveled to this middle school and we climbed all over the roof to see fireworks, SO FUN! We were trespassing and a bit afraid of getting caught, but it ended up all good. After that we went to the food store to buy some smores materials for the fire in the backyard at Matt's house, GREAT SMORES!

fu*k your roof

Day 15 - 7.05.2008 Jackson, MI
The Rocket, funny place, rap music and punk rock, who would have thought a dance club would love to do all ages shows? This was a last minute add on show for us, so no matter what it would be a good one. The sound guy was super nice, but it was difficult for him to work that screwy sound board. We brought along our jack-o-melon and then smashed it outside the venue. WATU, the happy accidents, and a few other great bands played. The Happy Accidents are good dudes. FTA ended up making bean burritos at a hotel we slept at and Stuck Lucky slept at the sound guys house. Here's a picture of the whole group outside of his house.

Bachelorette party!

Day 16 - 7.06.2008 Fort Wayne, IN
The Scout Lodge, that Moore family is the best. Thanks for setting up the show Jon. Great show, we had a ton of fun. WATU played this one too. So did a few metal bands and a folkish opener named the new critics, really nice guys, good change of pace. Did you know that Jon Moore is an eagle scout? I'm so proud. He and I think it was his sister liked our Manatee shirts too. It was Tyler's birthday, we treated him to a birthday treats. We ended up without a place to stay, so most of us slept in a wal-mart parking lot, URBAN CAMPING! GREAT FUN! Try it.
KICKBALL! Touring team won. 7 to 6.

TFT TATTOO

reed is the best beast.

we slept at wal-mart. URBAN CAMPING.

Day 17 - 7.07.2008 Indianapolis, IN
Halloween House. GREAT SHOW! Last show with We Are The Union, Detonate joined us for this one too! We played in the basement and had such a blast, thanks to Circle City Ska for helping us out, we can't wait to go back. A few of us ate at this creole place named YATS, very good food. Funny to eat good Louisiana food on tour. We had a party after the show, so fun. It was great except the next day I woke up a bit hung-over. I didn't even drink that much, I just felt bad in the morning. Here is a video of Johnny Ryan and I from that night. Johnny is a great man, hard working and very funny.
Johnny Ryan - Tells us stories.
lift that will!

Day 18 - 7.08.2008 Urbana, IL
IMC. Awesome venue. Artsy place, very political too. It was FTA and Stuck Lucky on this one. Agents of Change played, I really liked them. Great energy to their show and message. Alleyway Sex was supposed to play but their bass player couldn't make it. We hung out with D-ray's family today, they were so nice to all of us, I love them. There were a TON of thunder storms and the turn out was affected by it, but that's okay. We drove through like 2 feet of water at some points.
Day 19 - 7.09.2008 Troy, IL
Troy American Legion Hall. Right out side of St. Louis. Chuq showed up along with Sofia and Tara. I love people. This venue was booked in place of Building R. Landon from Suburban Epidemic set up the show, great guys, great punk trio. Detonate joined us again for this one. It was a good show, I think the turn out would have been a bit better if this venue would not have to have been changed, very fun none the less. It was Charlie from FTA's birthday today, we all hugged him and we made burritos. We drove into thrashville, Tn to sleep at Stuck Luckys house tonight, that took like 5 hours, very tired. Slept well.
Day 20 - 7.10.2008 Nashville, TN
DAY OFF. Very relaxing. Hung out with Detonate and Stuck. We went to grimey's record shop. Good place, good "preloved" vinyl. We partied very hard tonight, or most of us did. I couldn't at all. my stomach was KILLING me. I think I got one of those 24 hour bugs, I feel pretty good today. We ate vegan spaghetti tonight, it was so damn good.
OKAY!! so to finish this thing up!
Day 21 7.11.2008 Nashville, TN
THE MUSE. Very punk rock club. SO much fun. Stuck Lucky's coming home show. We had the pleasure of sharing the stage with the wonderful group known as Wednesday 13, that band's presence made me so glad that we are punk rock bands with at least a bit of integrity. Wednesday 13 = bad music with too much image and WAYYY overpriced merch!!! shitbags. Fist of The North Star, Detonate, played this show along with Stuck Lucky and Fatter Than Albert. It was fun to play in Stuck Lucky's hometown, those peoples love to dance and trash, it was the crazy. Fatter Than Albert drove home to New Orleans at the end of the night, gotta love those 8 hour drives.
Click picture below for shitbags.
Day 22 7.12.2008
No show. Wait for tomorrow.
Day 23 7.13.2008
THE BIG TOP. Very fun show. Coming home show for FTA. There were about 200 peoples there total. Detonate played again along with the Sticky Bandits and Call For Fire. The show went well, no major problems and everyone seemed to enjoy themesleves. I personally, not purposely tackled a 15 year old girl when I was jumping off the stage during stuck lucky's set, I felt so bad, but it was kinda funny, she didn't get hurt, I don't think. Here's some pictures!..

STUCK LUCKY TOURED FOR ANOTHER WEEK,
I HEAR IT WENT WELL, you'd have to ask them..
And THEN!
SKA WEEKEND!
7.19.2008
Knoxville, TN - Under the SUNSPHERE.
Very fun. Tons of bands played, not as many people as previous years, but still a great amount of fun. We got sunburned, ate watermelon, ate some vegan cupcakes, some of us ate ska dogs (hot dogs) I think. Green Room Rockers and Murphy's Kids really impressed me, Matt Wixson had a very great/ funny set, occasionally gross at times. I had so much fun just running around all day. FTA played alright I thought, we could have done better, I think Stuck Lucky felt the same way, but it was still hella fun! Brodie was there. What a champion he is. There were 11 people who drove up from New Orleans to be at the fest, thanks friends! We hand printed some Hulk Hogan shirts for this show, we sold a few, but we sold a TON of the new community records compilation, thanks to all of you who picked one up! Tonight we met some hustlaz, so we hustled our comp to them, it was after we ate at this great vegetarian restaurant/ bar called sunspot. GREAT FOOD! Thanks to stephanie for taking care of us.

THIS IS BRODIE... LOVE HIM.

TAKE IT TO THE STREETZ

That's it for this summer's tour!
Thanks to all of you for your support and for helping us to make this possible. You're great! There will be more music and more touring from all of us. To wrap up my thoughts on the tour, overall it was a fucking blast, we played a lot of great and fun shows, we met a lot of great people and ate a bunch of good food, no casualties, and only one broken limb… sorry Tyler. Stuck Lucky is a great bunch of dudes, I miss and mess them already. That Jonzee is my number one sweetheart. Bobcat Babies for life.
