Communityrecords.org is giving away something that's hard to find legally: free music. Community Records has released nine albums by seven bands that are perfectly fine with giving away some free music to anyone that wants it. Not that they're doing so because that's the only way to get these bands heard, the music is so good that you wouldn't mind paying for it.
Community Records is based in New Orleans, created by a couple members of one of the bands you'll find on the list of free albums, Fatter Than Albert. The focus of the label as stated on the website is one: people, two: good music, and three: connecting one and two. All you've got to do to get yourself some great music is to send them your e-mail through the "free music" section of the site, and they'll send you a link lickety split to the area where you can download the albums right off the site!
